Administrator:
LONG TERM OBJECTIVES:
Be renowned into the top 50 hostels in Colombia based on the website: www.hostelworld.com
Strategy: The administrator of the hostel, who is encourage of the costumer marketing and supervises the others employees´ works, will coordinate that the hostel continuously offers a hospital and quality service aligned with the Colombian culture.
At the end of few years, Aposentos Backpackers will have 5 strategic alliances with some renowned independent hostels or even some chain of hostels in Colombia.
Strategy: The administrator who is encourage of the external marketing of the hostel (alliances) is the responsible of this task by analyzing how to implement so diversification strategies.
FINANCIAL OBJECTIVES:
1) Increase number of costumers.
2) Increase frequency of sales.
3) Increase Revenue
4) Increase revenue from new, innovative services.
5) Increase ROI
6) Increase Profits
SHORT-TERM OBJECTIVES:
Generate minimun 2 maintaining inventory.
Strategy: The Administrador will be evaluating, with the external financial agency, the different credit opportunites arround the year.
Being able to dispone the 15% of the income to the research and development.
Strategy: The administrator will evaluate, based on the finantial reports, how to distribute ths income in order to dispone that % to the research and development.
Maintain a respectfull treatment with our internal customers.
Strategy: The administrator will achieve this objective not only by implementating and evaluating the organizational cultural policies, but also by being open to suggestions or ideas aimed at the improvement of the current culture .
Sell minimum two promotions or special packets per month.
Strategy: The administrator will have to analyse what kind of intensive strategies to implement.
SHORT - TERM OBJECTIVES:
Receptionist:
-Provide good quality information to the guest
-Be able to complete a check in and check out in under 10 minutes
-Be available every time of the days to provide a better service to the guest
-To have track of the Hostel’s guest fluctuations.
-Provide information to the Administrator about the hostel situation (numbers of guest in the hostel, coming guest) and supplier.
Chef:
- Designing unique typical Colombian menus for breakfast and lunch every day.
- Mange raw materials each 5 days.
- Guide the kitchen assistant in each menu preparation.
- Deliver a good quality product at each delivery.
Kitchen assistant:
- Deliver a good quality product at each delivery.
- Prepare food following the chef rules.
Security guard:
- Minimize to 0 the thefts within the hostel
- Reduce the response time in case of an security emergency
- Help keeping high standards of client satisfaction.
- Keep aware organization members of security irregularities presented in a period of time.
- Reduce 90% damage to the infrastructure.
To comply with the objectives, the security guard needs to reinforce security measures, the application of new technologies. Also he needs to be updated of new tendencies in security that he has to share with the administrator, so he can make better decisions regarding security, also he needs to be careful and very attentive looking out for any irregularities, but not generating in the customer a feeling that he is watched, also he needs to be help the customers regarding anything reasonable generating in the customer a better satisfaction.
Janitor:
-Maintain a sanitary environment for the guests at all times.
-Clean the rooms thoroughly within the specified morning timeframe.
-Respond to the guests´ cleaning requests as quickly as possible.
-Keep the bathrooms stocked at all times. (Paper towel, soap, hand sanitizer)
