Motivating

 

 

 

1) Introduction

 

Regardless of job, level of authority, salary, experience, and any other given trait, the employees at Aposentos Backpackers shall treat each other respectfully. Based on the following organizational statement (*), we look towards the well being of the organization and its members:

“Each and every member of our organization is of extreme importance, and deserves to be treated accordingly. We will respect our co-workers at all times, knowing that this act will be equally reciprocated. Any individual accomplishment shall be treated as a team accomplishment, therefore a mutually beneficial relationship will be maintained.”

 

2) Essential Aspects of Our Organizational Culture

 2.1) Leadership

 

The administrator will be responsible for guiding each respective subordinate towards constant success, using leadership as an ultimate tool to reach objectives.

 

 

  2.2) Communication

 

Verbal informal communication is permitted and encouraged, as long as our organizational statement (see above*) is kept true during the communication.

Any requests, complaints, problems, or disputes shall only be expressed in a written form of communication, in order to maintain formality within the organization.

 

  2.3) Fulfillment of Needs

 

Our members are guaranteed to have their basic needs covered while working in the organization. This will be enforced by an obligatory semi-annual survey where satisfaction will be measured and studied. If the surveys indicate a low level of satisfaction in a certain aspect of the workplace, management will consider a corrective decision to be implemented within a reasonable time after the survey results have been acquired. Our employees´ needs will be fulfilled.

Rewards and recognition of excellence within the organization will be in charge of the Coordinator, in order to show appreciation towards our employees´ work.

 

  2.4) Public Relations

 

The Public Image of Aposentos Backpackers is one of the highest current priorities, and shall be taken care of constantly. It is the responsibility for every single member to look after the public image of our organization, and any action that inflicts damage against it will be considered a severe breach of contract.

It is a requirement for new employees to take a course that explains the importance of our image towards the public, where they will understand clearly how to maintain a good image from their position in our organization.

 

3) Constant Improvment of Organizational Culture

 

Aposentos backpackers and its crew shall be fully committed to continuously improve the organizational culture. Both the coordinator and the administrator will be open to suggestions or ideas aimed at the improvement of the current culture.
